Gemeinsam mit der Konferenz fmx und ihren 6.000 Fachbesuchern entwickelt sich das Internationale Trickfilm-Festival Stuttgart zur bedeutendsten und größten Veranstaltung für Animationsfilm. Gegründet 1982, fördert das Trickfilm-Festival Stuttgart kontinuierlich den künstlerischen Animationsfilm, junge Talente und die Animationsbranche. Die Bandbreite des Rahmenprogramms reicht von Schul- und Studiopräsentationen über Werkschauen berühmterTrickfilmkünstler und der beliebten Best-of-Animation-Reihe bis zu hochkarätig besetzten Drehbuchworkshops. Beim Open Air-Programm auf dem zentralen Stuttgarter Schlossplatz feiert die Stuttgarter Bevölkerung zusammen mit den Gästen aus der ganzen Welt den Animationsfilm.

Together with the fmx Conference with 6,000 professional visitors, the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film is developing into the biggest and most important meeting in the world of animated film. Founded in 1982, the Festival of Animated Film has always promoted artistic animated films, young talented artists and the entire animated film sector. The accompanying events and programmes range from presentations by schools and studios, showcases of famous animation artists and the popular "Best Of Animation" series, right up to screenplay writer workshops with well-known animated film professionals. At the festival’s open air programme on the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart, the people of Stuttgart celebrate the art of animated film together with guests from all over the world.
