Alongside the unexpected locations in exceptional buildings, it is now possible to enjoy films by original makers in the open air. Side by side, in a vintage car, you can get the real drive-in experience while taking in road movies from Afghanistan, Jamaica and Europe. Then have a drink in the Shoot Me Café, in the urban garden at Prinsengracht 8. Just around the corner from the café, sample the Caribbean atmosphere, with films shown on a square. Another striking location is the stable – right in the centre of town – where all the atmosphere of an old-fashioned stables takes you further into the film world. At the 4th Shoot Me Film Festival, our surprising locations continue to reinforce the experience of the films.
